My favorite piece recipes

Whenever you’re feeling down, food can lift up your mood. A good meal is the perfect ending to a stressful day at the office. There are so many cool recipes you can try and many of them require just a few ingredients and some spare time. It all comes down to putting passion into what you’re cooking and letting your imagination fly.

I’ve always been a food lover so I try to learn as much as possible in the cooking department. Whenever I get the chance, I look for smart recipes that I cook for my friends. It’s a nice gesture and because it comes from the heart, it’s truly appreciated by others.

One of my favorite recipes that I cook on a regular basis is the stovetop chicken pot pie. Because it’s entirely homemade it has a special taste that you’ll never forget. You can use a large saucepan if you like. Or even a big pan that you have in the kitchen.

In order to make this easy recipe, you’ll need 4 frozen buttermilk biscuits, some chicken stock, whole milk, 3 tablespoons of flour, poultry seasoning, a small chopped onion, carrots, a little butter, some shredded rotisserie chicken, frozen green beans, and fresh parsley.

Once you crush the buttermilk biscuits, you should place the composition on the bottom of the saucepan, to create a bed for the rest of the ingredients. Then, in a large mason, just shake the chicken stock along with the whole milk, poultry seasoning, and regular flour. After the onions and the carrots are cooked in the butter, you can slowly whisk the milk in the entire mixture. You can bring to a boil and let it simmer. Just make sure you stir from time to time until it gets really thick. Put the composition over the shredded rotisserie chicken and green beans and let it cook for 5 minutes. Let it cool down for a couple of minutes and pour everything over the biscuit bed. It’s delicious and you can eat it for a late brunch or even dinner.

Since you should never say no to dessert, a cranberry pie should be more than enough to fix your sweet tooth. Make sure you get one pie crust and some fresh cranberries. In addition, don’t forget about the sugar, flour, one egg white, and the whipping cream.

The preparation is quite simple. Start by preheating the oven to 435 degrees. Then, roll out the piecrust and put in a 9-inch pie pan. Pour all the cranberries and form a thick layer. In a medium bowl, you need to sift the sugar and the flour. After you beat the egg white in another bowl, pour the flour and slowly stir into the cream. Put the cream on top and bake for about 50 minutes. Let the cranberry pie cool before grabbing a slice.
