Sooooo... hey. How's it going? Life good? Glad to hear it.

We know we promised updates, and we're making good on our promise. Just not at this very moment. You see, we're in the process of revamping the entire site for a relaunch with brand new content and very big things. I mean BIG. Things are going well and are all happening behind the scenes for now. More details will be revealed as time goes by, so stay tuned.

Hallo out there! Have you heard the news? I (Beth) have internet access again! I updated the About Beth page to celebrate, because IT WAS SO RIDICULOUSLY OUT OF DATE. I also updated Credits, because...why not?

I will be updating a lot. Allison's been carrying a lot of the burden since I've been without the 'webz, so expect to see newness Beth-style right quick. I just need to finish being in <3 with Zal so I can refocus. If that doesn't happen, I'll update anyway.

Speaking of segues, we've been asked by PT's publicist Therra to stress to all the nay-sayers out there that Peter is the person doing Facebook status updates and Tweets on his official accounts. If it's not him, it's stated clearly within the individual update. Peter does have the mental capacity to understand the basics of typing words into a box and clicking "Update." But it's adorable that you think he doesn't.

You have the Beatlettes guarantee, kittens. We officially endorse this product. If I had a photo of Allison and I doing a cheesy thumbs up, I'd be posting it here. Unfortunately, no. Anyway, go friend Peter and start Twitterstalking him -- in a good way, that is. Don't actually start stalking him. We do not endorse that. Stalking = bad.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY NON-LESBIAN LIFEPARTNER, BETH! She turns the big 2-5 today and she can now rent cars for our many, many roadtrips in the future (or at least for the next three years until I turn 25 haha). I love you, B!

Site updates are magnanimous and epic and COMING SOON. School is almost over for me (two weeks, people!) and Beth now has weekends free. Oh yes, this means big things are coming. Frankly, we're not sure if you can handle it. But we'll see.

From March 19-22 we held the Beatlettes Summit in Cleveland and Pittsburgh where we hung out, talked about the Monkees, listened to the Monkees, watched The Monkees, and generally obsessed over the Monkees all weekend. In short, it was fan-fucking-tastic.

The pictures above were taken at the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland. Yes, that is the infamous woolhat that Allison made, showing the Rock Hall who's boss. INDUCT THE MONKEES, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

Anyway, we generated lots of new, good, and amusing ideas for the site which we'll be working on! Until then, to keep up on all the latest and greatest, join the FORUM! We're good people.

The Beatlettes' Summit officially commences tomorrow since Allison is back in Ohio for the week! Let the fuckery and debauchery begin. Expect random things coming this week! And Psycho Jello is updating again, too! Yay!

Today it was announced that Peter Tork has cancer. We are shocked and saddened, but we remain optimistic about his prognosis, and send him all of our good thoughts and prayers. Tomorrow, he will undergo surgery in New York. We are asking you to please take a moment and send some good chi his way.
