I really love Jeopardy
No, I really do. Do they have Jeopardy in Europe? I guess it doesn't really matter. I'm not going to be watching TV over there anyway. Well, maybe a little at Ashleigh and Martin's place in London, but only because I want to see what real British TV looks like.
I feel bad because I feel like I'm only focusing on England at the moment, but after all, I've been dreaming of going to England for years now. I've been checking out Liverpool sights all day today and emailed the people who coordinate the Magical Mystery Tour to get our reservations. I need to reserve my space for the John Lennon/Paul McCartney house tours. Oh to be in the place where Paul (and his father, Jim - I used to have a weird obsession with him) walked! I can't wait.
I stumbled upon an online course designed to cure people of their fear of flying awhile ago (see the links page). I completed it once and I'm planning on doing it again before we leave. It helped a little, but I'm still pretty terrified of flying. I try to visualize sitting on the plane next to Colin, gripping his hand for dear life (of course), and it's really hard. I just hope everything goes well. I'm actually looking forward to being in the airport; I like airports. Security is fun.
Tonight, one of my missions is to get 1) thank you notes for graduation-type business, and 2) printer ink so I can print out maps that the lovely Christine sent me in order to get to Brian Epstein's grave in Liverpool. Looks like we'll have to take a taxi there, but that's okay. I don't think we'll be taking a taxi at any other time. I HAVE to see Brian.
Okay, now I'm rambling and I have a bijillion things to do tonight. Read Colin's post; it's much more eloquent and thought out than mine!
