There's heaps of stories about how Paul treated his girlfriends (from the early 60s) really badly and same with Linda and Heather. Are these true, or what? I hope not!

That depends on what your definition of "really badly" is. If it's just cheating, then I'm pretty sure he was guilty of this throughout the 1960s, as were the other Beatles. However, I'm pretty sure you're referring to the rumors about him hitting his wives/girlfriends. All of this is heresay, brought about by Heather, and if you trust Heather, you need serious help. She alleged that he not only physically abused her, but also Linda. I, personally, do not believe this, but no one knows the truth. (I've never heard rumors of him hitting Jane or his other girlfriends.)
